The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chelsea Takes a Pregnancy Test – Surprise Baby Drama for Billy?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) romance is on solid ground, but they’ve definitely reached the dreaded “boring happy couple” phase.

Meanwhile, Chelsea might confide in Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) that she thinks she might be pregnant since they’re practically new besties these days.

There’d be some opportunities for confusion if Summer picks up a pregnancy test for Chelsea and gets busted by someone who assumes Summer might be pregnant instead!

A soapy misunderstanding like that could infuse some twists and turns into a show that relies way too much on musical CEO chairs and company takeover stories.

As for Chelsea, she might take a pregnancy test and find that she’s got a surprise bun in the oven. How would Billy react to Chelsea possibly making him a dad again?

There’d be all kinds of drama to play when it comes to Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) since Chelsea gave him up as a baby and allowed Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to raise him.

How would Johnny feel about Chelsea raising his new sibling with Billy now?

Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) might also be a little upset since the writers always play the “sensitive kid” trope with him.

Of course, Y&R could still get drama out of a negative pregnancy test if Chelsea perhaps realizes she’s disappointed.

That could lead to Chelsea and Billy having a conversation about potentially having a baby together, so there are lots of ways to move this couple forward with some unexpected situations.
