Lee Nailon is one of the most popular and richest Basketball Player who was born on February 22, 1975 in South Bend, Indiana, United States. Nailon renewed its contract to Bnei HaSharon on August 1 2010.
In the 2006-07 season Nailon played Bnei HaSharon to the Israeli Cup final, a feat that shocked the legendary champions Maccabi Tel Aviv, in the semi-final (eventually falling to Hapoel Jerusalem in the final).
Nailon was a second-round (43rd overall) selection by the Charlotte Hornets in the 1999 NBA Draft. He’s been a player in the Hornets (in distinct stints for both the Charlotte as well as New Orleans franchises in 2000-02 and 2004-05, respectively) as well as the New York Knicks (2002-03), Atlanta Hawks (2003-04), Orlando Magic (2003-04), Cleveland Cavaliers (2003-04) and Philadelphia 76ers (2005-06). Nailon had a dispute against coach Paul Silas while at Charlotte over the amount of time he played, that led to his being dismissed and moving to the Knicks. Nailon was involved in numerous disputes with Silas in a preseason game in 2002, which resulted in his exile. Nailon was advised to join the Knicks via a phone call that the coach Don Chaney made to Silas. When he was playing with the Knicks Nailon was unhappy with the not getting enough playing time. He has NBA record averages in the range of 8.6 scores and 3.1 Rebounds per game. His international experience includes playing for Adecco Milano in Italy (1999-00), Bnei HaSharon in Israel (2006-07; 2010-11), Lokomotiv Novosibirsk in Russia (2007-08), Al-Riyadi in Lebanon, Leones de Ponce (2009) and Piratas de Quebradillas in Puerto Rico (2010).
In 2018, Nailon was drafted 6th overall by the Ghost Ballers of the United States based BIG3.
