Justin Reed is one of the most popular and richest American basketball player who was born on January 16, 1982 in Jackson, Mississippi, United States. Reed passed away after a fight with angiosarcoma a type of blood cancer that was discovered on the 20th of October 2017.
On the 14th of June 2007 it was announced officially that Reed and co-player Mike James would be traded to the Houston Rockets, for Juwan Howard. The Rockets then released him the Rockets and did not appear in any game for the team.
After a successful career as player in the University of Mississippi, Reed was picked at the end of the round (40th overall) by the Boston Celtics in the 2004 NBA draft. After a couple of seasons of playing very little the player was traded for Minnesota Timberwolves on January 26, 2006.
